Currently, the A.C.T.I.O.N. Coalition has many services available for the citizens of Johnson County.  Some of those services are as follows:

¨ Drug Awareness Training– A Coalition member will train a group of individuals about a specific drug issue, i.e. marijuana, methamphetamine, underage alcohol use, signs of drug or alcohol use, etc.  We can tailor a class to your specific needs.  Please contact our offices for more information.

¨ Drug Fact Sheets for Teens– Brochures available to the public and designed for today’s youth, simply come by our office and pick them up!

¨ Drug Testing Kits– We have free at home drug testing kits available for: alcohol, oxycodone, and meth and marijuana.

¨ Summer Camp– Yearly one week camp designed to equip our youth in knowledge and skill to stay drug and alcohol free.

¨ Service Learning– Community Service done with youth that includes classroom curriculum with meaningful service.

¨ Parent Education– Similar to the drug awareness training, a Coalition member can facilitate an educational class designed to build the necessary skills to keep your kids off drugs and teach them to live healthy, productive lives.

¨ Drug Education Brochures– We have brochures on many different drug issues, simply come by our offices and pick them up.

¨ Resource Directory– Comprehensive list of County resources and Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facilities.

¨ Community Awareness– Local campaigns designed to make the community more aware about pressing issues facing our youth

¨ Drug Treatment Availability-Comprehensive list of every drug treatment facility within 100 miles.

¨ Youth Coalition-A group of concerned high school students working to impact the drug and alcohol problem in our community.

¨ Educational Videos-Various drug awareness, true life stories about the effects of drug use, movies geared toward both youth and families, etc.  These movies can be checked out of our offices for free.  Just come by and ask for Mary.

¨ Preventive Education-Classes and materials about the effects of drug use and ways to prevent and build on the positive asset in the lives of our youth. 

¨ County Statistics-School survey results, law enforcement and judicial statistics, basic county facts, etc.
